Soccer
Soccer is a game played by two teams. There must be eleven players in each team who try to kick a ball into each other's goal. it lasts 90 minutes.
Some basic rules and information about soccer:
There is a flag in each corner of pitch and it may locate in each interior side of midline, too. The pitch must be about 100 meters long and 73 meters wide. It consists of:
Goal, penalty area, midfield, center circle and center area.
-There are two goals consisting two vertical poles with 2.44m. high joining together with a horizontal pole with 7.32m. long. Poles should be in white.
- To score a goal, a player must pull the ball into the other team's goal. They may use their feet, hands or other parts of the body but they are not supposed to touch the ball with their hands. One player on each side, the goaltender, may use his hands.
-The best goaltender is nimble and quick with quick actions. The main obligation for a goaltender is not to let a ball into the net. And when they want to save the goal, they can use all parts of body especially hands. To stop a ball a goaltender needs to predict the way the ball moves and react fast. A goaltender should give necessary orders to defenders. Knowing that when defenders should pass a ball to behind and to his goaltender is very important.
Every match, runs with four referees that have full authority to do the rules of match.
Some obligations of referees during the match: -They do rules of match, control match, check the safety of the ball, search clothes and equipments of players, hold time of the match and note number of goals, when the players hurt badly, the referee of the ground can stop the match until player leaves the ground, when a player repeats the mistake he can show a yellow or red card to the rule breaker .
- One way to start match is to kick the ball from the corner. If one person kicks the ball from straight and the ball goes into net of rival's goal this goal will be accepted. Corner is kicked when the ball hits one of rival players and exits from wide line.
- Between two halves of match there is rest time which shouldn't be more than 15 minutes.
- A penalty is given to a team when one player breaks a rule in penalty area. At the end of each match or in lost time, put time for penalty shoot out. In these cases the penalty is given to a player or team:
1) Hit player on the ground 4
2) Jump on rival
3) Hit rival with a hand
4) Get ball with hands
5) Tackle unsuitably
A striker heading the ball should kick under it strongly and try to send the ball near the line of goal because in this area getting the ball for goaltender would be difficult. A striker or forward needs to be in the correct position on time to pass the ball to the goal.
